Eligibility and How to Enter

1. The ANZ “Cricket Grant Promotion” (the “Promotion&Rdquo;) commences at 12.00am on 17 October 2019 with the last time for submitting applications being 11.59pm on 20 March 2020 (the “Promotion Period”).
2. The Promotion is open to all New Zealand residents.
3. By submitting an application participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
4. The Promotion provides an opportunity to make an application to ANZ Cricket World for a contribution of cricket equipment, cricket-related items and/or funding in order to support the enjoyment and development of cricket.
5. To make an application, participants must complete the online application form available through the ANZ Cricket World website (anzcricketworld.co.nz). Applications must include a statement of less than 500 words setting out the reason for and merits of the application. All details in the application must be accurate and not misleading. Applications can be supplemented with the submission of photos or video. Instructions on uploading these with the application are available and form part of the application form. Applications containing any offensive or inappropriate content, in the opinion of the Promoter, will not be approved for publication on the ANZ Cricket World website.
6. Participants may only submit one application per team / club / group / individual.
7. False, repeated, misleading or inappropriate applications (as determined by the Promoter) will be disqualified and may also affect the validity of other applications submitted by the participant or by other participants in support of the same individual, team, group or club. In addition, the following entries shall be deemed invalid:
   1. incomprehensible or incomplete entries;
   2. any entries that infringe the intellectual property right of third parties or that are plagiarised; or
   3. any entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.
8. All applications become the property of the Promoter.

The Application Process

9. All applications which are eligible for consideration under these Terms and Conditions will be published on the ANZ Cricket World website.
10. A panel of judges appointed (in its sole discretion) by the Promoter will review all applications that are eligible for consideration, throughout the Promotion Period. The judges will assess the merits of each application in their discretion and will ultimately determine any successful applications, in whole or in part. Any contributions awarded will be at the discretion of the judging panel.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to change the Promotion Terms and Conditions, as well as the nature, period, scope and any details or elements of the Promotion or cancel the Promotion at any time, by giving notice to the participants via email or through published information on the ANZ Cricket World website.
12. Applications that have been awarded a contribution will be announced by publication on the ANZ Cricket World website from time to time, throughout the Promotion Period.
13. Applicants that have been awarded a contribution will also be contacted by the Promoter via the contact details provided in the application form. In the event that the Promoter is unable to contact a successful applicant after three attempts, that applicant will forfeit the grant and the judges will select another successful application in their place.
14. The Promoter’s decision and the decision of the judges is final on all matters relating the Promotion including applications, the nature, number and value of any contributions awarded, the successful winners and the delivery of contributions. No correspondence will be entered into.
15. In the event that a specific successful application request becomes altered, unavailable, or in the opinion of the Promoter, unnecessary in any way, the Promoter reserves the right to reassess that grant, seek further assurances or substitute it in its absolute discretion.
16. Application grants are not transferrable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash except as determined by the Promoter.

Successful Applicant’s Obligations

17. All applicants agree to be identified by name with their application and have their application published on the ANZ Cricket World website once submitted and prior to the announcement of the winning applications. Names and details of the successful applications will remain published on the ANZ Cricket World website until such time as the Promoter elects to remove them.
18. The successful applicants may also be required to attend a presentation ceremony and agree to any print, TV or social media or promotion personnel covering the Promotion to photograph, interview and report on the Promotion accordingly, as the Promoter in its discretion determines reasonable.
19. By claiming a contribution, applicants agree to the Promoter making use of their name(s) and/or photographs for publicity purposes as determined by the Promoter. Agreement to this shall entitle the Promoter to unrestricted use of the images and video footage and rights to distribute, exhibit, license and use the material in any manner whatsoever.

Privacy

20. Except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, personal information received from applicants will be held securely by the Promoter and used only in relation to the administration of the Promotion.
21. Applicants have the right to access and may change or update personal details by visiting the ANZ Cricket World website (www.anzcricketworld.co.nz) and entering the “Contact Us” section or emailing ANZ Cricket World on info@anzcricketworld.co.nz

Liability

22. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate shall not be liable for any loss damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly out of or in connection with the Promotion, the taking of any contribution, or any act or omission of the Promoter or their associated agencies, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
23. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and applicants release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property if, for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control (e.g. due to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures etc), this Promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the Promotion's administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected. Further, in such circumstances, the Promoter may modify or suspend the Promotion and/or invalidate any applications of any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the Promotion or abusing the communication system upon which the Promotion is being conducted.
24. Where goods or services are supplied by third parties, the Promoter does not warrant the quality of those goods and/or services or the suitability for a particular circumstance. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any loss suffered as a result of the use of those goods and/or services.
25. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem or any kind or internet malfunction. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt of transmission into the ANZ Cricket World website database, not the time of transmission by the applicant.
26. These Terms and Conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

“Promoter” means ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited.

Eligibility

1. Entry to the ANZ Bat for your Cap promotion (the "Promotion") is open to any person who is residing in New Zealand (the "Entrant").
2. The Entrant must:
   1. be able to travel from New Zealand to London, UK on 27 June 2019, returning 15 July 2019;
   2. have a valid passport and visas (if applicable) for this travel;
   3. have no criminal convictions; and
   4. if the Entrant is under the age of 18 years old on 01 January 2019, the Entrant must be able and willing to travel with their legal guardian as their travel companion.

Promoter and Organiser

3. The Promotion commences at 9.00am on Tuesday 01 January 2019 and ends Sunday 04 March 2019 at 11.59pm (the "Promotional Period").

How to enter

4. To enter the Promotion, Entrants must:
   1. Download the ANZ Bat for your Cap app from either the Apple or Google Play stores;
   2. Register their details (First Name, Last Name, Email and Mobile Phone) and accept the terms and conditions in the ANZ Bat for your Cap app
   3. Hit a Successful Six (as defined below) while playing the ANZ Bat for your Cap game by:
      1. launching the app on their mobile device; and
      2. playing whenever the Entrant sees an ANZ Bat for your Cap game ad on TV, digitally online or on the big screen at live BLACKCAPS matches during the Promotional Period.
5. An Entrant will be considered to have hit a �successful six' if the timing and strength of the Entrant's swing meet the criteria and digital parameters set by ANZ (a "Successful Six"). Subject to paragraphs 7 and 8 below, an Entrant will receive one entry into the Promotion for every Successful Six hit during the Promotional Period, up to a maximum of 100 entries per day.
6. When playing the ANZ Bat for your Cap game at a live BLACKCAPS match, ANZ may offer Entrants the chance to be selected to play the game on the field and face up to 3 bowls on the big screen. For every Successful Six hit by the selected Entrant while playing on the field, the Entrant will receive 20 entries into the Promotion. The maximum of 100 entries per day still applies.
7. The following entries shall be deemed invalid:
   1. any incomprehensible or incomplete entries;
   2. any entries that infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party or that are plagiarised;
   3. any entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.
8. All entries become the property of ANZ.

The Prize

10. There is one prize available for the winner and a single travel companion. The travel companion must satisfy the criteria set out in paragraph 2(a)-(c) above and, if the winner is under the age of 18 years old, be the winner's legal guardian.
11. The prize consists of the following experience:
    1. a role within the New Zealand Cricket support team to support the BLACKCAPS, assisting the team prepare for the game on 29 June 2019. The role may include, but is not limited to, driving (if the winner is able to do so), setting up team trainings and preparing or packing equipment. Details of the role will be confirmed with the Short-List Candidates during the selection process outlined below.
    2. flights for two people from Auckland to London on Thursday 27 June 2019, returning London to Auckland on Monday 15 July 2019.
    3. seventeen (17) nights' accommodation in hotels in the location of the events.
    4. attendance for the winner and travel companion at events in the UK between 29 June 2019 and 14 July 2019.
    5. NZD 5000 to be deposited into the winner's nominated bank account, to contribute towards travel and general expenses during the trip, including transport and food.;
    6. return transfers for two (2) people between the London airport and the London hotel, both on arrival in the UK and on departure from the UK.

    The prize does not include frequent flyer or similar reward points, travel or personal insurance, transfers to and from New Zealand domestic airports, transfers to and from events, departure taxes, meals and beverages and any other costs not detailed above.

12. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any elements of the prize not taken will be forfeited.
13. All prize elements are made available subject to the relevant provider's terms and conditions (the "Prize Conditions") which apply to each prize element. The winner of the prize and any travelling companion will be required to comply with, and are deemed to have accepted, the Prize Conditions.
14. No remuneration will be paid for the work undertaken by the winner. The role must be carried out on a voluntary basis.
15. ANZ may substitute an alternative prize of equivalent value without notice in the event the prize or part of the prize becomes unavailable.

The Selection Process

16. The first four (4) entries drawn that comply with these Terms and Conditions will be short-listed to go through a selection process for the opportunity to be selected as the winner (the "Short-List Candidates"). The draw to determine the Short-List Candidates will take place on Friday 8 March and the Short-List Candidates will be contacted by mobile phone. Only Short-List Candidates will be contacted directly by ANZ. If three (3) reasonable attempts to contact a Short-List Candidate have been made and the Short-List Candidate is still unavailable, the opportunity will be forfeited and ANZ may draw another Short-List Candidate.
17. The Short-List Candidates will be required to undergo a selection process. The selection process will include a background check and one or more interviews with a representative from ANZ and New Zealand Cricket. In addition, within 3 working days of receipt of notification of being selected as a Short-List Candidate, the Short-List Candidate will be required to:
    1. provide any information requested, including a copy of their passport, driver's licence, information for a criminal convictions check and any other information that may be relevant to the prize delivery should the Short-List Candidate be selected as the final winner; and
    2. confirm their understanding and acceptance of all aspects of the prize, including the obligations of their role within the team should the Short-List Candidate be selected as the final winner.
18. Following the conclusion of the selection process to ANZ's satisfaction, a final winner may be selected by ANZ from the Short-List Candidates on or before Monday 25 March 2019 and, if a winner is selected, the winner will be notified by Thursday 28 March 2019. If the prize winner cannot be contacted within this 3 working day period their prize will be forfeited without compensation and another prize winner may be selected (at ANZ's discretion).
19. If the final prize winner is unable to commit to travelling or performing the designated role, their prize will be forfeited without compensation and another prize winner may be selected (at ANZ's discretion).
20. ANZ's decision regarding the Short-List Candidates and the prize winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. The prize winner will receive a full itinerary containing all the required instructions pertaining to the prize no later than 10 days prior to departure.
22. ANZ may terminate the prize at any time if ANZ determines that the prize winner has engaged in inappropriate conduct before or during the travel period.

Privacy and communication

23. Entrants in the Promotion agree to receive communications from ANZ from time to time including, but not limited to, ANZ Cricket World with communication on cricket related promotions, offers and opportunities to win prizes.
24. The information provided to enter this Promotion will be held securely by ANZ and will be used:
    1. for the purposes of administering the Promotion;
    2. to send communications from ANZ from time to time,

    which may include disclosure to agents of ANZ. Entrants have the right to access and request correction of this information. For more information please see ANZ's privacy policy.

25. By claiming a prize, the winner:
    1. agrees to participate in ANZ promotional activities, including but not limited to media appearances, photo shoots, video & TV recordings and social media activity; and
    2. consents to ANZ and New Zealand Cricket making use of their name(s) and any photograph(s) and/or video recordings relating to the Promotion or the prize for publicity purposes as determined by ANZ, including on social media

Liability

26. ANZ (including its related companies) shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, the taking or using of a prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of ANZ, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
27. Individuals playing the ANZ Bat for your Cap game must do so responsibly, including ensuring that they hold their mobile phone or other device securely and that they play safely without causing damage to any person or property. Without limiting the exclusion in paragraph 26 above, ANZ accepts no liability for any personal injury, loss or damage to mobile phones, other devices (whether or not used as a screen to play the game) or any other damage or loss of property as a consequence of playing the ANZ Bat for your Cap game.
28. ANZ assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind or internet malfunction. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt of transmission by ANZ, not the time of transmission by the Entrant.
29. Where goods or services are supplied by third parties, ANZ does not warrant the quality of those goods and/or services or the suitability for prize winners' particular circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, ANZ excludes liability for any loss suffered as a result of the use of those goods and/or services.

General

30. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
31. ANZ may amend these Terms and Conditions or extend, cancel or amend the Promotion at any time.
32. These Terms and Conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

Entry and closing dates

Entries into the ANZ BLACKCAPS Supporter PJs giveaway open on Thursday 30 May at 6.00am and close on Monday 15 July 2019 at 8.00am.

To enter you must text PJ to 332 and then using the link in the reply text update your Facebook profile pic with the ANZ Pyjarmy Army frame.

By entering the ANZ BLACKCAPS Supporter PJs giveaway you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The ANZ BLACKCAPS Supporter PJs giveaway is open to all New Zealand residents or citizens aged 18 or above. Employees of ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZ), their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter. One entry per person.

Texts to '332' will incur standard message costs to the entrant depending on your Network Provider. Texts may not be included as part of text plan packages - check with your telecommunications provider. All text costs are at the expense of the entrant.

Incomplete or unreadable entries, unlawful entries and entries that don't comply with these terms and conditions shall be deemed invalid. All entries become the property of ANZ.

The prize

There are 260 pairs of ANZ BLACKCAPS supporter pyjamas to be awarded during the promotional period. ANZ will use best endeavours to award the requested size, however reserves the right to award another size if your requested size is unavailable.

Prize winner notification

ANZ will randomly select winners from all entries that comply with these terms and conditions. We will notify all prize winners by mobile phone before 5pm Monday 15 July. If we haven't heard back from the prize winner within 24 hours of successful notification, their prize will be deemed forfeited and we will select another winner. Your prize could take up to five working days to arrive at your confirmed address.

Your personal information

ANZ will hold all entrants' personal information and may use such information to administer the ANZ BLACKCAPS Supporter PJs giveaway. You can access and correct personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.

Your responsibilities

The winner takes the prize entirely at his/her own risk and releases ANZ from any claim, including damages, in connection with the prize draw or the prize. By entering the prize draw you acknowledge that (1) this prize draw is in no way sponsored, administered, endorsed or associated with Facebook; (2) the information you provide is to ANZ and not Facebook and (3) Facebook has no liability to you in relation to this prize draw.

ANZ's responsibilities

ANZ accepts no responsibility for any entries that fail to reach ANZ by the closing date for any reason.

ANZ accepts no responsibility for any prizes that are lost in transit.

ANZ's decisions on all matters regarding the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

ANZ reserves the right to extend, discontinue or change the prize draw at any stage.
