ANZ Skills Sessions Event Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- An application for an Event can be made by a guardian or parent residing in New Zealand aged 18 years and over as at 17 October 2019 (the “Applicant”).
- The Applicant may nominate one or more children to attend an Event who the Applicant is the parent or guardian of and who is aged between five and twelve years old as at 17 October 2019 (the “Nominee”). Each Applicant may only submit one application per Nominee. Multiple entries which are duplicates may result in all nominations by that Applicant being disqualified.
Promoter and Organiser
- The promoter and organiser of the Promotion is ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited, whose registered address is ANZ Centre, 23-29 Albert Street, Auckland 1010, (the “Promoter”).
How to enter
- Applications open at 12:00am on 17 October 2019 with the last time for applications being at 11:59pm on 4 March 2020.
- To apply, Applicants must complete the registration form at www.anzcricketworld.co.nz/skillssessions.
- The following entries shall be deemed invalid:
- incomprehensible or incomplete applications;
- any applications that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- Events are limited to two hundred and seventy (270) places and will be allocated at the discretion of the Promoter.
- Applications are permitted for multiple Nominees however placement is at the discretion of the Promoter and may result in some, but not all, of the Nominees receiving places.
- Information on how to apply forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Applying for a place at an Event constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The prize
- The prize consists of six ANZ Skills Sessions events (‘Events’) which will take place at:
- Mount Maunganui, Monday 18 November 2019.
- Auckland, Wednesday 22 January 2020.
- Hamilton, Monday 3 February, 2020.
- Wellington, Tuesday 18 February, 2020.
- Christchurch, Wednesday 26 February, 2020.
- Auckland, Wednesday 25 March, 2020.
The prize draw
- Confirmation of a place at the Event will be provided to successful Applicants no later than 14 days before the Event using the contact details provided on their application form. If a successful Applicant cannot be contacted within 24 hours the place at the Event will be forfeited and ANZ may offer the place to another Applicant.
Prize winner’s obligations
- Successful Applicant and Nominees will need to make their own way to the Event. No travel or accommodation will be provided by ANZ.
- The successful Applicants and Nominees will receive additional information once they have been contacted by ANZ, setting out meeting times, venue details and a contact person for their allocated Event. The successful Applicants and Nominees must accept any conditions and commit to comply with the instructions provided or the place at the Event will be forfeited.
- Each Applicant consents to ANZ making use of their or a Nominee’s name(s) and/or photograph(s) for publicity purposes as determined by ANZ, including on social media.
Promoter obligations
- ANZ may change, extend, amend or cancel this promotion at any time.
- Where goods or services are supplied by third parties, ANZ does not warrant the quality of those goods and/or services or the suitability for your particular circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, ANZ excludes liability for any loss suffered as a result of the use of those goods and/or services.
- ANZ assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an application as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind, internet malfunction or any issues related to the submission of application forms. Applications are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into ANZ’s website database, not at the time of transmission by the Entrant.
- The decisions of ANZ are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Privacy
- The information provided to enter this promotion will be held by ANZ and will be used for the purposes of administering the promotion and the Event. Applicants have the right to access and request correction of this information by emailing info@anzcricketworld.co.nz
Liability
- ANZ and its related bodies corporate shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with this promotion or the Events, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of ANZ or any of its associated agencies, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Without limiting the foregoing, ANZ assumes no responsibility for, and the Applicants release ANZ from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property if, for any reason beyond ANZ’s reasonable control (e.g. due to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures etc), this promotion or the Events are not able to be conducted as planned and/or ANZ’s administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected. Further, in such circumstances, ANZ may modify or suspend this promotion and/or invalidate any applications of any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion or abusing the communication system upon which the promotion is being conducted.
- These Terms and Conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
- The promoter is ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (‘ANZ’).
